I’m Rachel, the heart and hands behind Back to Basics Homestead.

My journey began with a desire to return to simple, wholesome living for my family, inspired by the way my grandparents relied on natural remedies, old-fashioned recipes, and the steady rhythms of homestead life. Their example showed me that the best care often comes from going back to the basics. What started as a passion for making things by hand soon grew into a business, where I now craft tallow-based skincare, soaps, and wellness goods rooted in purity, sustainability, and faith.

Each jar, bar, balm, and spray is handcrafted in small batches with ingredients you can trust. I believe the best things for our bodies come from the land, not a lab, and my mission is to give families natural alternatives that truly nourish.
